Anti-FAQ

Isn't "Peace Rebels" a contradiction?

Only if you think peace is passive. We don't. Rebellion doesn't require violence—sometimes the most disruptive act is refusing to participate in performative outrage. We're rebelling against noise, tribalism, and the illusion that screaming louder makes you right. Peace is the rebellion.

Why does a T-shirt cost this much?

Because making things properly costs money, and we're not subsidizing your wardrobe with exploitative labor or planetary damage. Fair wages, quality materials, small-batch production—these aren't marketing spin, they're line items. If you want cheaper, the internet is full of options. We're not competing with them.

Are you political?

We're philosophically minded, not politically aligned. If you're looking for tribal signaling or partisan cheerleading, you'll be disappointed. We care about ideas worth defending—intellectual honesty, nuance, dissent—not teams. Some will call that political. We call it thinking.

Where does the clothing come from?

Portugal and Turkey, primarily. EU labor standards, factories we've vetted personally, materials we can trace. No romance about artisans hand-weaving in mountain villages—just transparent supply chains and people paid fairly to do skilled work. Boring, but honest.

What makes your statements different from other graphic tees?

Most brands put slogans on shirts. We put ideas you've actually thought about at 2 AM. Our statements assume you've read a book in the last year and aren't afraid of ambiguity. They're designed for recognition, not explanation—if someone needs the reference explained, they're not the audience.

Who is this not for?

People who need their clothing to announce their values loudly. People allergic to spending real money on wardrobe staples. Anyone seeking simple answers, clear villains, or moral certainty. If you want to fit in, there are easier ways. We're for the people comfortable being quietly, stubbornly themselves.
